Dibrugarh, March 23: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Assam Oil Division) will take on Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited while Oil India Limited-A will clash with Oil India Limited-B in the two semi-finals of the 31st Petroleum Sports Promotion Board Inter Unit Football Tournament at Nehru Maidan in Duliajan.

In the last league match played today, Indian Oil (AOD) defeated Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) 2-0. Paban Rajbongshi of Indian Oil scored both the goals in the first half. Rajbongshi scored the first goal in the fifth minute through a solo effort dribbling past two defenders.

He scored the second goal in the 22nd minute capitalising upon a well-judged pass from the right flank.

Both the teams tried their best to score in the second half but failed to score due to poor finishing and lack of co-ordination. Seven teams are featuring in the meet.

The final will be played on Friday.
