Guwahati, July 16: Green Valley Sports Club lifted the Premier Agro Bio-Tech 8th N.N. Bhattacharya invitation football tournament trophy, defeating Gauhati Town Club 3-0 at Nehru Stadium today.

Green Valley’s Michel Lucky Kelechukwu scored the first goal. In the second half, Green Valley substitute Sanjeeva Rongpi pumped in a brace. Kelechukwu was named Best Player of the Tournament.

Boxing: Three Imphal West pugilists entered the final of the women’s sub-junior event in the Manipur State-Level Boxing Championship at Khuman Lampak boxing ring.
