Why The Gold Finch?

The Gold Finch is the city’s first exclusive snack bar. Just a few years old, the eatery has been following up its mantra — small is beautiful — with some lipsmacking fast food items, packed or served hot.

The eatery serves fast food in its Indian and Western avatars.

Service

Keeping in mind college students and office-goers, the eatery remains open seven days a week from 10 am to 10 pm. While two cooks rustle up what you order, two stewards stand by to attend to customers.

First Impression

A fresh look, created by a green and yellow décor, is complemented by cane furniture. A spic and span floor, small tables and sober upholstery make for a pleasant and comfortable experience.

At the entrance, a straw roof adds a touch of nature that is continued in the interiors.

On the Menu

Select the taste that suits your palate from an array of snacks on offer. Try the special chicken roll or cheese and egg roll for a quick tangy bite.

If you prefer white meat, take your pick from chicken momos, chicken burgers and chicken mayonnaise sandwiches.

The sandwiches here are worth every penny and very reasonably priced. You can have a vegetable sandwich for as little as Rs 5.

For pizza buffs, there are a number of options, from vegetable to cheese pizza.

For a more wholesome meal, order a plate of egg or chicken noodles, garnished with seasonal vegetables. In winter, you can enjoy steaming soup in flavours of your choice.

The best part is, no matter what you order, the bill will leave you smiling.

The Indian food on the menu is as mouth-watering as it can get. The chicken tandoori is one to die for. So are the succulent chicken tikkas.
