Inter-School Cricket

Guwahati, Nov. 4: Fairyland School and Gurukul Grammar School today beat Disneyland High School and Mangaldoi High School respectively in the under-14 7th Golap Hazarika all-Assam inter-school prizemoney cricket tournament at the Dispur Parade ground here.

In the first match, Fairyland batted first to score 107 for three in the allotted 20 overs. Dharshan Hazarika took two wickets for 18 runs. Man of the match Adarsh Sharma claimed five wickets for 15 runs to bundle out Disneyland for 95.

In the second match, Gurukul restricted Mangaldoi to 104 and then notched up the target losing four wickets. Anurag Kashyap was adjudged man of the match, scoring 28 runs.

Tomorrow, South Point School meet Fairyland while Srimanta Shankar Academy play Purbanchal High School.
