Crossing safety

Students of Chaulkhowa Medium High School and Chaulkowa Primary Secondary School in Dibrugarh district take part in a kite-flying session on Thursday, as part of a global campaign to create awareness about railway crossings.

The Tinsukia division of Northeast Frontier Railway has also been organising street plays near railway crossings between Tinsukia and Dibrugarh. There are around 250 level crossings in the division out of which 25 are unmanned.

Safety runathon, half-marathon, painting competition, pamphlet distribution and other activities that started on Monday, will conclude with a motorcycle rally in Tinsukia on Friday.
