It was a day of celebration for children and staff at Shishu Sarathi, a Guwahati-based organisation for special children, which celebrated its foundation day on Thursday.

The celebrations included cultural programmes by the children, various competitions and performances by local music bands.

The atmosphere was full of gaiety as children, dressed in their best, enjoyed a day in the sun.
