Imphal, June 24: Dangmei Bosco upset top seed Rk. Apollosana to collect full point in the 16th Y. Nialamani Memorial Open Chess Tournament, 2011, organised by Singjamei Chess Club in Imphal West.

In the second round, Dangmei Bosco beat Apollosana Singh, earning full points to remain on top with two points.

On the other tables, second seed Kh. Sanjoy Singh managed a stale draw with H. Manisana Singh while Th. Nabachandra Singh also drew with Rk. Bhogen Singh.

to stay with one-and-a-half points each.

Players having collected two points are Dangmei Bosco, S. Premjit Singh, N. Bankim Singh, H. Jacky Singh, O. Ningthem Singh, Th. Uday Singh, T. Gobind Singh and Kh Merajao Singh.

Fitness chaallenge: The Apunba Fitness Centre Imphal will be holding the 1st AFC Transformation Challenge 2011 on October 23 at GM Hall, Imphal. The preliminary rounds of body measurement will begin on July 17.
