Guwahati, July 24: Former Subroto Cup finalist Betkuchi High School, Kamrup (metro) annexed the title of the Dewkon Memorial Inter-School under-17 football tournament defeating Singra High School, Kamrup (rural) 2-1 in the final at Newfield here today.

ASPL final: Morning Star FC, Diphu, will lock horns with FC Green Valley, Guwahati, in the final of the Assam State Premier League football tournament at Karbi Anglong Sports Association ground in Diphu tomorrow evening.

Appeal

The Ex-Cricketers Association has appealed to former cricketers and other organisations campaigning against Assam Cricket Association secretary Bikash Baruah to exercise restraint and extend support to the ACA's initiative to develop cricket in the state.
