Guwahati, Feb. 20: Mobile service provider Aircel today launched a bouquet of special Internet data packs for smartphone users with an eye on strengthening its 3G footprint in Assam.

"We have introduced four 3G data packs for all segments of customers and designed by taking specific data requirements into consideration," Dibyajyoti Khaund, circle business head (Assam), Aircel, said today. The tariff starts from as low as Rs 22 for a recharge of 100MB data to Rs 997 for a recharge of 10GB and unlimited data."In addition, we are offering free data on every voice recharge," he said.

"Aircel has witnessed over 80 per cent growth in 3G data uptake in the state. We are doubling our 3G presence in Assam," Khaund added.
