In the bylanes of north Kolkata, Garanhata Street is a hidden jewellery wholesale market, overshadowed by the larger Bowbazar market. From gold and silver to copper and imitation jewellery — one can get their hands on some affordable handmade accessories

The lane is lined with shops big and small. Walking down, one can spot craftsmen melting, bending and making accessories out of different metals
