1/5 Howrah Station has been dressed up on Thursday for the inauguration of Vande Bharat Express by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. The luxury train, with more than 1,100 seating capacity, will soon run between Howrah and New Jalpaiguri. The distance between Howrah to New Jalpaiguri is 560 km and the Vande Bharat Express is likely to cover the distance in eight hours. The world-class express train is equipped with KAVACH (Train Collision Avoidance System) for enhanced safety. Improved safety with four emergency windows in each coach. Side recliner seats are available for all classes. Executive coaches in Vande Bharat Express have the added feature of 180-degree rotating seats.  The train has bio-vacuum toilets with touch free amenities and Wi-Fi content on demand
