It’s nearly Easter — that time of the year when temptation comes in the form of white chocolate eggs with cheesecake fillings, fluffy and spiced buns, luscious marzipan eggs and cute pinata eggs.

Needless to say, Kolkata’s bakers have stocked up on fresh, house-made Easter desserts, artisanal bites and gorgeous goodie hampers for you to choose from.

Saldanha Bakery

Bored with the traditional marzipan eggs? Saldanha has a number of egg-citing alternatives!

Choose between Chocolate Nougat Eggs (filled to the brim with bite-sized marzipans and flavoured chocolates) and Minion and Emoji Eggs (solid chocolate eggs shaped like minions and made with creamy milk chocolate).

Or go for bunnies, chicks, and teddy bears made of decadent dark chocolate that taste like tiny bites of heaven. There are also delicate French macaroons infused with chocolate, strawberry, and blueberry, along with artisanal chocolates with dollops of caramel, strawberry, blueberry, and hazelnut at their core and of course, Easter-themed cupcakes that are as cute as a button!

Psst… Saldanha’s famed hot cross buns will be available over-the-counter, up to Easter Sunday and on order for the rest of the year.
