Dussehra in Kolkata: 60-foot Ravana effigy, dandiya night and more at Salt Lake’s Central Park

A spectacular fireworks show, rituals, performances and live music will add to the spirit of celebration on October 2

A 60-feet Ravana effigy is all set to go up in flames at Central Park, Salt Lake, on October 2, to mark the timeless victory of good over evil. The grand Dussehra event will feature more than just fireworks in its 13th edition. Expect an evening packed with sacred rituals and live performances that will enable attendees to revel in the festival’s rich culture and traditions.  

Besides the 60-foot tall effigy of Ravana, 50-f00t effigies of Meghnad and Kumbhakaran will also be burnt at the event. A spectacular fire show will add to the spirit of celebration
