Q: I have a bachelors in political science and a masters in social work. I got 50 per cent in both. I am working as a field investigator in a university research project. I want to do a masters in social welfare administration. Could you suggest me courses that would suit me. What kind of jobs can I get?

A: You already have done a masters in social work and, hence, I feel there is no need to go for another masters. Instead, you can gain some experience and then see if you really need to augment your qualification. Meanwhile, you can apply to various NGOs who are working in different strata of society.
Q: I have passed BCom and want to be a fitness instructor. I go to the gym regularly for the past one year. Which centres in Calcutta offer PG diploma in fitness management? Utsab Roy
A: In Calcutta IISWBM offers a course in sports management. Global Institute of Medical Sciences also offers a six-month certificate course in fitness management. Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences, Pune, offers a PG diploma in fitness management and so does Laxmibai National College of Physical Education, Thiruvanantapuram, Kerala.
