Ranchi, Feb. 24: Neena Gupta, in the game show Kamzor Kadi Kaun, might have had the most “venomous” wit and the sharpest tongue, but the students of Birla Institute of Technology, Extension Centre, were no less.
The quizmaster, a student himself, lobbed a volley of questions at the participants in a similar game to eliminate “the weakest link” today.
The competitive game show was organised by the students of BIT Extension Centre, along with News and Publication Society.
Over 20 students of MCA, BCA and BBA from different semesters participated in the programme. The cheers from the audience echoed in the hall to cheer their friends and classmates.
Audience joined with the participants jumped enthusiastically to answer questions based on movies and visual rounds and those who were unable to make a mark were declared the “weakest link” by their fellow participants.
Asked about the reason for choosing one of the candidates as the weakest link, Amit, one of the partipants answered with a beaming smile, “The majority is always right in a democracy.”
The audience rolled with laughter on hearing the illogical answers of their team-mates as the quiz master spared none in each of the rounds.
Interesting and thought provoking questions like, “Which insect eats up its own children,” the answer being ants. The question, “What is the perfect eye sight for a human being,” dispelled the common notion of 6/6, the answer being 20/20.
One candidate is thrown out of the game after being chosen as the weakest link by the fellow participants. The next round of questions begins with the weakest link declared by the scorers of the previous round.
The “strongest link” who survived the game by enduring the harsh words of the quiz master and effectively tackling the questions, was awarded a trophy by the News and Publication Society and the organising students of the institute.
