Jamshedpur, Jan. 30: If you got flat feet, blame it on fate ? that is, if you believe in astrology.

If your toes overlap another, it could be the influence of planets while excessive wear and tear of footwear on one foot has a bearing on your personality.

Predicting fate with lines and shape of human feet made its presence felt at the three-day 14th Asian Astrologers? Conference, which concluded today at Michael John auditorium. ?Why only palm, genuine astrologers can also predict fate from the lines and shape of your feet,? said astrologer Bhupendra Soni.

He added prediction based on lines on your feet was slowly gaining acceptance.

According to him, the lines on a palm or foot were more or less the same. But some believers get cold feet when it comes to showing their feet.

?Palmistry gained popularity because people felt uncomfortable showing their feet to astrologers. It is all about human posture. People loathe to find themselves in uncomfortable postures,? Soni added.

Soni, who is Baroda-based and a recipient of several awards, has made his way into Asia?s who?s who honour list. He said each toe is connected to planets ? namely Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury ? and the Sun.

?Flat-footed persons are unfit for this world. They would always encounter trouble in life,? he said.

The astrologer, who is believed to have come out with accurate predictions about the fate of several top-bracket politicians, film stars and bureaucrats, said all are not flat-footed.

?There is a definite curve or gap underneath the feet. Fingers are not usually equal in size but people with toes of equal length (the small and the one just besides it) tend to suffer from stomach problems,? Soni said. He said there was a tendency for footwear to wear off on either of the feet.

?Depreciation of footwear and walking style reflect your personality. For example, people who apply more pressure on the front portion are likely to get into regular tiffs with superiors. These people don?t stick to one job. They get regularly transferred,? he said.

Soni added that regular tiffs surface due to Saturn?s influence on the Sun. ?It all depends on the position of planets,? he said.
