Jharkhand State Basketball Association secretary Harbhajan Singh hands over the inter-school champions' trophy to ecstatic cagers of DBMS Kadma High School on Monday.

Gulmohur High School boys and DBMS Kadma High School girls won the 4th inter-school basketball championship, which ended at JRD Tata Sports Complex.

While Gulmohur boys fought hard to prevail over Hill Top 36-25, DBMS girls drubbed Sacred Heart Convent School 36-12.

Fast-moving Usha Gope of DBMS alone scored 17 points for her team.

Among boys, Subham Kumar scored 16 points for Gulmohur while Navnit Kumar of Hill Top earned 17 points but couldn't help his team to victory.
