Jamshedpur, Oct. 13: Exams done, Telco-based Gulmohur High School in Jamshedpur is pushing its students to take the creative dive.
The school wound up a two-day “Gulotsav” celebration on its campus in an attempt to give its students a break from academics and learn something fresh before the Durga Puja holidays.
The annual inter-school event, which was open to students of Classes III to XI and had a number of competitions — collage, pot painting, music, origami, dance and singing — lined up. An estimated 500 students took part.
“It is an annual event that aims for holistic development of students. It helps bring forward latent talent in students, who get a chance to express their creativity,” principal of Gulmohur Sunita Sinha said.
