DE NOBILI DAZZLERS

In his inaugural address on Saturday, Rear Admiral Srikhande of the 1972 batch, who came from Mumbai to attend the two-day Homecoming 2015, said he was lucky to study at a school that stressed on values. Set up in 1956 on CIMFR campus at Digwadih by Father FX McFarland on the invitation of then CIMFR director Adinath Lahiri, the school later shifted to a plot given by businessman Banwarilal Agarwal. It opened its branches at CMRI Dhanbad (1972), Sijua (1975), Mugma, Sindri and Chandrapura (1977), Maithon (1979), Bhuli (2009) and Gomoh (2014). Text by Praduman Choubey; pictures by Gautam Dey
