Here’s a great opportunity for young creators and artists to delve deeper into the world of zines. The British Council is set to host the Summer Zine Lab, a workshop on zine-making, aimed to develop creative thinking and artistic skills in children. The workshop will be held at The Harrington Street Arts Centre from May 18-20. Designed for children between ages 8 and 13 years, one would get to learn the basics and create their own zines on social topics like climate change, animal protection and more. The facilitators include publisher, writer and illustrator Swarna Jana and Arnab Banerjee, a culture producer based in Kolkata.
