Ahaan Panday is all set to kick off his acting career with Yash Raj Films. Ahaan, 25, who is actor Chunky Panday’s nephew, has reportedly been mentored and guided by YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra for the last three years. Chopra — who is credited with giving launchpads to Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma, among many others — apparently believes that Ahaan has the goods to shape up as one of India’s top stars in the years to come.
“Ahaan has got his big Bollywood break and it is under the YRF banner. Aditya Chopra is grooming him and his film will go on the floors early next year. Ahaan has proven to Adi that he is very dedicated to his craft and so Adi has signed him on in the YRF Talent division that has historically managed the careers of Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar, to name a few. Ahaan has shown that he chooses to stay away from the public gaze in recent years to only focus on improving his craft. That goes well with the YRF ethos because the company always bets on talent and sincerity,” is the word from industry sources.
Recently, a video of Ahaan dancing with his cousin Ananya Panday to the ‘90s hit Saat samundar paar from Chunky’s film Vishwatma during his sister Ahaan Panday Alanna’s wedding, went viral.
