After a month-long hunt, the Vaseline Pujo Ready Contest is ready with its winners. Triparna Bardhan, Zinia Ghosh, Debleena Chakraborty and Tanusmita Chakraborty have been picked after an elaborate and fun campaign covering malls, pandals, Facebook and online submissions.

Held in association with Anandabazar Patrika, the contest started on October 10 and registrations were on till October 31. In the run-up to Puja, PYTs from across the city registered themselves at Vaseline Pujo Ready zones at Forum, City Centre Salt Lake and New Town and Avani Riverside Mall. The malls also hosted grooming and mentoring sessions with Tollywood beauties June, Parno Mittra, Priyanka Sarkar and Payel Sarkar.

During Puja, the action shifted to Vaseline Pujo Ready stalls at 66 Pally, Shibpur Mandirtala, Dum Dum Park Tarun Sangha and Labony Estate. The four winners will be featured in Anandabazar Patrika and go on a dinner date with the four celebrities.

“Initially, I was shocked to learn that I was the winner among all four mall toppers and I bragged about this to all my friends! I have started planning what to wear on the day I meet the celebrities,” grinned Triparna Bardhan, an advertising professional.

“It feels great that I won. I did not expect it! I think the dinner meet with the celebrities will be fun and I am looking forward to it,” smiled Tanusmita Chakraborty, an air hostess with Air India.

“It is an inexplicable feeling! I informed my parents, friends and family the moment I came to know I had won. Meeting the celebs will be interesting. I am just too happy as winning is the most important thing for me,” gushed Zinia Ghosh, a PG student at Rabindra Bharati University.

“I am very happy to have won the Vaseline Pujo Ready Contest. It feels just great! I registered online but with so many applications, I did not expect to win at all,” said Debleena Chakraborty,
