What: Hindusthan Club presents Barge Party in association with t2

What to expect: Fun on the river! DJ Rahul will give Bollywood hits a twist, singers Arpita and Rajesh will belt out popular songs and Sushmita Paul and her dance troupe will ensure the excitement doesn’t slacken. The multi-cuisine dinner spread includes everything from Rajasthani Bajre Ki Khichdi to Chinese faves, puddings and brownies. No alcoholic beverage will be served.

What to expect: Tolly actress Indrani Halder will anchor the show. DJ Sammy will man the console. Spinach and Cheese Rolls, Tandoori Prawns, Smoked Fish… that’s just a teaser of the yum-yum menu. The dinner spread includes Mutton Biryani, Amritsari Fish, Kashmiri Kofta and Lachchha Paratha. Needless to say, the tipple quotient will be well attended to. 
Dress code: There are no strict guidelines but men are expected to sport jacket and tie.

What to expect: DJ Kranti will rock the floor with Bolly party anthems. Singers Som and Prajna will start their performances with feel-good classics, moving on to newer Bollywood numbers. A multi-cuisine dinner spread awaits with Lasuni Paneer Tikka, Peanut Butter Chicken, Fish Amritsari, Mutton Biryani and a salad counter. The bar will be stocked with a wide range of liquor.

What to expect: Expect the debut party of P for Party to be a grand affair. The event will feature Bollywood mash-up king DJ Kiran Kamath, whose music will be accompanied by dance performers, jugglers and anchor Dikshita. Expect 10Watt laser work to enthral you all through the party and at midnight! There will also be exclusive butler service at each cabana along with premium liquor and varied cuisine –– Pan Asian, Thai, North Indian and Oriental.
Organiser speak: “This is the brand’s first party, so it has to be lavish. We have 30 white cabanas that will have exclusive three-butler service. There will also be unlimited snacks on offer like Roast Jerk Chicken, Barbecue Pork Chips, Mini Sausage Rolls, Paneer Tikka Shashlik amongst others. Playback singer Rini Chandra from Mumbai will be there to keep the crowd moving to Bolly hits. There will also be a fashion show and a performance by Sajid of Dance Bangla Dance fame. Dinner includes Continental and Chinese dishes and some Italian counters serving up pastas. Don’t miss the Chicken Roast cooked with Indian spices and Thai Laksa Soup. DJs Felix (of Underground), Rahul Indoria (of Privy) and Kushal Walecha will provide the beats while belly dancer Sonia will up the glam quotient. Ladies (with platinum passes) can avail a complimentary foot spa. There will also be dedicated cabanas with personalised service. Refuel and recharge with Indian, Chinese and Continental  cuisine. The final day of the week-long mela will continue to have camel rides, puppet shows and authentic Rajasthani folk dances and songs — all sure to transport you to the land of sand. The midnight moment will have DJ Aditya, VJ Silvy and fireworks. After all the rides and dancing, tuck into Marwari and Rajasthani dishes like Ker Sangri Ka Saag, Dal Baati Churma, Missi Roti and Kadhi.

What: Lok Sanskriti presents Apno Gaon Rajasthani Mela partnered by t2

What to expect: Besides folk dance and music performances, Calcutta-based singer Kamran Khurshid will take the stage on the final day of this week-long mela. There will also be a laser show and fireworks to usher in the New Year. Expect a flavour of Rajasthan. There will also be stalls selling popcorn, candyfloss, vegetarian kebabs, phuchkas and chaat.

Organiser speak: “We are expecting around 5,000 people. DJ and singer-performer Kamran Khurshid will entertain the crowd and special combo meal packages are available for the night,” said Kamlesh Kejriwal, organiser.

What to expect: The casino theme means Las Vegas, cards and games! DJs Abby Abdullah and Arpita will spin Bolly and English numbers while international belly dancer Emeli is expected to send temperatures soaring. The emcee for the evening will be Vinita Chatterjee. For the selfie addict, there will be a photography zone! Munch on Crispy Chilli Babycorn, Chicken Soya Dumplings, pasta and more. The bar promises to be stocked with the choicest of sips. Television faces — Sara Khan and Raghav Sharma (of Maharana Pratap fame) — are expected to ring the New Year in. 
Dress code: Boys, bring out your tuxedos and bow-ties! Girls, keep those free-flowing gowns ready.

ELITIFY @ ORCHID GARDEN

What: The Party People presents Elitify 2015 in association with t2
Where: Orchid Garden, 11/1 East Topsia Road, behind Science City
When: 9pm 
What to expect: DJ Kunal Bose will keep the party on top gear with electronic and Bolly tracks while city-based rapper Kapil Singh Soni will play on words. Also present will be Riecha Sharma. Ivory (the 22 Camac Street dine den) is in charge of catering the food. 
Dress code: Formals and dinner jackets for the boys — no demins please. Dresses for the girls — no Indian wear, please. 
Organiser speak: “Expect the best music, food and unlimited alcohol at the party. We expect about 1,500 people and the weather will be great for an outdoor party on New Year’s Eve,” said Aman Chopra.

What to expect: Russian dancers who will groove to DJ Samm’s beats. City-based dance troupe Dhamaka will perform to Bolly numbers. Choose from Indian and continental — Chicken/ Paneer Tikka Masala, Biryani, Paneer Makhani, Kali Daal and more. Round it off with Gur Sandesh and Gajar Ka Halwa. Stay spirited with Ballantine’s and Chivas.
Dress code: Smart casuals.
Organiser speak: “We believe in providing a safe environment with great food, beverage and entertainment under one roof. The venue is especially easily accessible for those from Salt Lake,” said Manish Pandey, head of banquet operations, Ambuja Neotia Group.

DEN @ CLUB AGORA

What: Club Agora presents Den in association with t2
Where: Club Agora, Axis Mall rooftop
When: 9pm
What to expect: Catch a glimpse of Tolly celebs Rituparna Sengupta and Arunima Ghosh. International belly dancer Elena will perform along with Foot Tappers dance group. VJ Renne and DJ Sammy will play popular Bolly numbers. Fire up your appetite with starters like Jungli Murg and Crispy Vegetable Pepper Salt before moving to the spread at the dinner table where you can refuel with Chilli Lemongrass Fish, Exotic Veggies in Malaysian Belum Curry and Thai Jasmine rice. Wrap it up with Black Forest Pudding and Nolen Gurer Rosogolla.
