The plot: A modern adaptation of the Uttam Kumar-Moushumi Chatterjee-Sumitra Mukherjee comedy (based on My Fair Lady). Here, Babul does an Uttam Kumar who is married to the hoity-toity Sreelekha. Trouble starts when tribal girl Phoolmani Murmu (Monami) lands at their home and wreaks havoc on their domestic life.
Directorspeak: “Ogo Bodhu Sundari isn’t a remake of the Uttam Kumar film. I have made a few changes in the script. But whoever comes to watch my film should watch the Uttam Kumar film, or else they wouldn’t know what’s happening,” said Sunanda Mitra.
Watch out for: Babul, Sreelekha and Monami recreating the Uttam-Sumitra-Moushumi magic in this timeless tale with a modern touch.

The plot:A smart south Calcutta guy (Dev) gets a rude “culture shock” when he moves into a north Calcutta pad. Alongside the Ghoti-Bangal cat fights and East Bengal-Mohun Bagan war of words, there’s a whiff of romance with a nerdy, girl next door (Payel). The tension reaches a climax when Dev calls for a north vs south cricket match.
Directorspeak: “The protagonist of Le Chakka is the para. I have tried to capture the para culture. It’s a fun watch and people can relate to the subject,” said Raj Chakraborty.
Watch out for: Dev steering his team of para boys in a game of gully cricket. Plus, the Dev-Payel power play.

Watch out for: A racy, edge-of-the-seat urban thriller with unexpected twists. Also, performances by the lead cast and the cameos.
