Priyanka Chopra is ready for her next Hindi film, The Sky is Pink, and has begun prepping for the project, to be helmed by Shonali Bose.

Buzz is that PeeCee would be getting a share of the profits from the film. If indeed she does, Priyanka will be the first actress in Bollywood to do so after the Khan superstars and Akshay Kumar.

This will be the 35-year-old actress’s second comeback Bollywood film after the already announced Bharat with Salman Khan.

PeeCee, who moved to New York City for Quantico and made her Hollywood debut with Baywatch (2017), is looking to return to the Hindi film industry. Her last Hindi film was Jai Gangaajal in 2016.

Bose is best known for directing the critically-acclaimed Margarita, With A Straw. She has also written The Sky is Pink, whose Hindi dialogues are by Juhi Chaturvedi, who penned the lines for October.

Priyanka revealed the project in one of her Instagram stories. She had shared a picture in which one can see the title of the film on the 29th draft of the script. The actor captioned the photo: “And it begins #prep #hindimovie”.
