Shakira And Rihanna’s Steamy, Sticky Outing Is Burning Up Music Video Channels. T2 ‘cheggs’ Out Seven Other Duets Published 06.02.14, 12:00 AM

CAN’T REMEMBER TO FORGET YOU (SHAKIRA featuring Rihanna)

What happens when Colombian superstar Shakira and Barbadian brunette rockstar Rihanna come together in a music video? We get a steamy and sticky sensuous video. The video opens with Shakira singing about making mistakes in love while having a romp in the bed in a see-through white top and then... Rihanna joins in. The video is packed with sexy shots of RiRi and Shak gyrating up and down a wall and spending some girlie time together puffing cigars and cosying up on the bed. Directed by Joseph Kahn, the song will feature on Shakira’s upcoming album. “At the end of the day, we’re both just basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher,” Shak recently told Glamour magazine. Who are we to disagree with 63,608,776 YouTube hits (till Tuesday night)!

Holy Grail (Jay Z featuring Justin Timberlake)

Jay Z and Justin Timberlake collaborated on the former’s song Suit & Tie but it was Holy Grail that made Jay Z walk away with a Grammy this year (Best Rap/Sung Collaboration). The song that opens with Jay Z rapping about Tyson to Michael Jackson’s Thriller to his baby girl Blue Ivy and his row with the paparazzi, soon focuses on Timberlake’s voice.

Timber (Pitbull featuring Ke$ha)

Pitbull is known for his rapping and successful collaborations with Marc Anthony to JLo to Christina Aguilera to our very own PeeCee! But Pitbull’s Timber featuring the sexy Ke$ha is certainly one of the best collaborations of recent times. We love Ke$ha’s new hair colour and Pitbull’s Casanova image in the video.

Drunk In Love (Beyonce featuring Jay Z)

The song is part of her self-titled visual album that made its debut at number 12 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and features husband-rapper Jay Z. Shot on Golden Beach, Florida, in a monotone frame, it has Beyonce singing and swaying playfully while Jay Z performs a rap verse. She walks on the beach in a sheer bikini. Need we say more?!

The Monster (Eminem featuring Rihanna)

The last time they came together in 2010, we loved the way they sung Love The Way You Lie and after three years, Rihanna and Eminem have woven the same magic with The Monster. The song that talks about OCD, opens with the powerful vocals of Rihanna as a sexy and gothic therapist sporting a blunt cut and blue lips and moments later Eminem takes over with his feisty rapping.

Just Give Me A Reason (P!nk featuring Nate Ruess)

P!nk and fun.’s lead singer Nate Ruess’s duet initially took everyone by surprise but by the end of the song, it makes us happy. If Pink showed off her acrobatic skills in Try, this video shows off her sensuous side –– lying, kissing and cuddling her tattooed husband Carey Hart. We love how the pop ballad starts with a piano note and P!nk begins the first verse slowly but soon moves to a powerful chorus which is followed by Ruess’s unconventional strong vocals.

Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke at VMA 2013

Miley Cyrus and Robin Blurred Lines Thicke gave us a duet that defies logic. They twerked and twerked and twerked. And what was that song? We Can’t... something, something!

Who You Love (John Mayer featuring Katy Perry)

Feeling loved, romantic or mushy? Listen to this track from John Mayer’s album Paradise Valley that features real life on-off couple Mayer and Katy Perry. The song talks about two people falling in love. The video features couples riding a mechanical bull... people who are ready to ride and fall off the bull happily… together. Towards the end of the video Mayer and Perry ride the bull and Perry says, “You are the one I love.”Aww!
