LIGHTS, CAMERA,ACTION!

That girl in the maroon dupatta is Janhvi Kapoor, who has been camping in town since Thursday for the shoot of her debut film Dhadak. On Saturday, the t2 camera caught Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter walking on the tram tracks at Maidan for a shot, wearing the same beige and maroon salwar kameez that she had sported for the shoot at New Market on Friday morning.

On Saturday, the 21-year-old also shot on a tram (picture above), co-star Ishaan Khatter (seated behind Janhvi) for company. Ishaan is actor Shahid Kapoor’s brother.

Earlier in the day, the cast and crew of the Shashank Khaitan-directed film, that’s produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, parked themselves at

St. Stephen’s Church in Kidderpore, with Janhvi and Ishaan. Also present at the shoot were Gauri Shinde, who directed Sridevi in English Vinglish, and her filmmaker husband R. Balki.

JOYRIDE!

Can you recognise the man in the back seat of the autorickshaw? Well, it’s Amitabh Bachchan! During the shoot of 102 Not Out, slated to release on May 4, the 75-year-old superstar was required to use public transport as part of a scene. Bachchan sportingly took an auto ride, even as a huge crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of him in the avatar of a
102-year-old man.

“At first we were hesitant as the rickshaw is quite small and we wondered if Mr Bachchan would be comfortable, given his height. However, he insisted on travelling in the rickshaw and was quite enthusiastic too,” reveals the film’s director Umesh Shukla.

102 Not Out stars Rishi Kapoor as Bachchan’s 75-year-old son.
