The makers of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Lal Salaam have dropped the first look of the actor as “everyone’s favourite” Moideen Bhai.
“Everyone’s favourite BHAI is back in Mumbai 📍 Make way for #Thalaivar 😎 SuperStar 🌟 #Rajinikanth as #MoideenBhai in #LalSalaam 🫡,” the official Twitter handle of Lyca Productions wrote alongside the first-look poster of Rajinikanth from the film.
The poster shows a bearded Rajinikanth in a Jodhpuri suit, sporting a pair of black shades and a red hat. The Gateway of India can be seen in the background. The poster also shows visuals of violence.
Helmed by Rajinikanth’s elder daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Lal Salaam also features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in important roles.
Pravin Baaskar will head the editing department, while Vishnu Rangasamy will be in-charge of the cinematography for the film. Music for the film will be scored by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman.
Aishwarya made her directorial debut with 2012 Tamil-language romantic psychological thriller 3. She also helmed Gautham Karthik-starrer Vai Raja Vai in 2015 and a documentary about stunt choreographers, Cinema Veeran (2017). She also announced her debut Bollywood film Oh Saathi Chal last year.
Rajinikanth, on the other hand, is currently shooting for Nelson’s Jailer. Lal Salaam is scheduled to release later this year.
