Following Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule’s teaser and Arun Vijay’s Mission Chapter 1 trailer release, the makers of several upcoming Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films dropped new trailers and teasers last week. Here’s a look.

Raavana Kottam (Tamil)

Saregama Tamil released the official trailer of the upcoming Tamil-language film Raavana Kottam. Directed by Vikram Sugumaran, it stars Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Prabhu and Anandhi in the lead roles.

The two-minute-nine-second-long trailer shows Ilaya Thilagam Prabhu as a lower caste leader who is ready to lay down his life for peace and harmony in his village. Shanthnu plays Prabhu’s son who strives to fulfil his father's wishes.

Rainbow (Telugu)

Telugu actress Rashmika Mandanna recently shared a video of Day 1 from the sets of her upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Rainbow. The film is set to be a romantic fantasy centred around her character. Directed by Shantharuban and bankrolled by SR Prabhu, it also stars Dev Mohan.

“Day 1 on the sets of #Rainbow 🌈 Lovveddd every bit of today! An update I was looking forward to sharing with all of you 🤗❤️,” Rashmika wrote on Twitter.

Agnyathavasi (Kannada)

Dakshayani Talkies dropped the teaser of the upcoming Kannada-language horror film Agnyathavasi. Directed by Janardhan Chikkanna, it features Rangayana Raghu, Paavana, Siddu Moolimani, Sharath Lohithaswa and Ravishankar Gowda.

The one-minute-39-second-long teaser shows a cursed town, where children are murdered. We are then introduced to several characters, all of whom show violent tendencies.

Neelavelicham (Malayalam)

OPM Records unveiled the trailer of the Malayalam-language horror film Neelavelicham. Directed by Aashiq Abu and written by Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, it stars Tovino Thomas, Rima Kallingal, Roshan Mathew, Shine Tom Chacko, Rajesh Madhavan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan and Pramod Veliyanad.

The three-minute-one–second-long trailer chronicles the tale of a writer’s ghost residing in a house. A new tenant, also a writer, moves into the house. He soon finds out that the ghost was a woman who was murdered.

Neelavelicham is set to arrive in theatres on April 20.
