Your vital stats:
Mine go up and down by an inch week to week, but basically they are 34-25-36.

The secret of your fab figure:
Genes, I guess (laughs)!

The best compliment you’ve got:
From my niece Hiya. She’s just turned six months and whenever I talk to her, with a beguiling smile she immediately tries to eat up various body parts of mine — fingers, hair, ear, whatever she can grab! Can’t imagine a more disarming compliment.

The body part you like to flaunt:
My eyes. Followed by my brain.

Any body part you want to change?
No. My body may have many flaws but I’m perfectly happy to live with them. I've always been a pretty confident girl but my self-esteem has little to do with my body parts.

Are you comfortable wearing a bikini?
I’m comfortable wearing a bikini. My mother (Nabanita Dev Sen) gave me my first one when I was seven! It was pink and white, and had strawberries printed all over it, my favourite fruit. In fact, I recently did a bikini shoot. Whether or not I’ll do it again depends entirely on the context. I’ve worn bikinis on beaches in Europe and the US since I was practically a child, but I am against any kind of photography that would objectify a woman.

One actress whose figure you admire:
I’ve always loved the slender grace and ethereal beauty of Audrey Hepburn.

You start your day with:
A big cafe latte in my Wonder Woman mug. Sometimes I have hot chocolate instead, especially if it’s cold.

Your daily diet:
Right now I’m on a strict Nolen Gur diet — sandesh, rosogolla, even ice cream — since I’m in Calcutta. My daily food really varies a lot since I love to eat. Even as a child, I was the one with the biggest appetite in the family — I could always eat more than any of the adults, and sometimes all the adults put together (laughs)! But I do make sure I have lots of fruits and veggies. I avoid sugar in my tea and coffee, and whenever possible I choose whole grains over refined.

You love to gorge on: J
halmuri
. It’s my favourite snack. Closely followed by Calcutta phuchkas (as opposed to pani puris or golguppas, they just don’t have the same zing)! One of these evenings, after we packed up for Autograph, our mentor Sohagdi (Sen), my hair stylist Priya and I finished off an unending stream of phuchkas at Prinsep Ghat! The phuchkawalah actually remembered me from the last time I was there, a few years ago. Apparently, I had polished off 40 phuchkas that time. Only!

Your stay-healthy tip for the t2 reader
:
At least eight glasses of water, eight hours of sleep and eight hugs a day!

Your wardrobe must-haves:
Hats and flats. Never cared for heels.

A fashion fetish:
Kajal. A fetish I was cultivated to have since I was a baby!

A fashion trend you’d never try:
Beautiful traditional saris with string bikinis and long gloves. I find it a bewildering, if intriguing, combination.

Your biggest fashion faux pas:
I’m incorrigibly absent-minded. Went to the premiere of one of my films wearing two different shoes on each feet — one black, one red! My Spanish flamenco dress was black with a red rose, so I tried both on to choose one, then forgot and left in a rush. To add to it, one had a smaller heel than the other. I looked totally ludicrous, and kept limping and hobbling as I smiled at a flood of cameras!

Colours you like to wear:
White. Black. Red.

Your fave cosmetic brands: Benefit, Dior and Bobbi Brown.

Your fave accessory: Toe rings.

You like to wear your hair: Open, my natural curls.
