Paap actress Udita Goswami has been in a semi-secret long-term relationship with Kalyug-Zeher-Awarapan director Mohit Suri. But recently, rumour mills have been churning out stories of their alleged break-up and linking Mohit up with various Bollywood actresses.

When we asked Udita how she reacts to rumours of Mohit Suri’s alleged link-ups with other actresses, she exploded: “I was shocked to read about Mohit’s link-ups. I thought that if they could write something like this, tomorrow they could also write that I am a terrorist.

Linking up Mohit with somebody else is the most unbelievable thing I have heard because it’s just not possible.”

There was no stopping the sexy star: “First of all, Mohit does not have the time to have an affair with anybody, honestly. Secondly, he is too much in love with me to have an affair with somebody else.”

But there must have been some fire that sparked the break-up smoke? “Well, we were just on a break because I wanted to concentrate on my career. I think it’s high time I am totally into my career,” reveals Udita.

Did that mean that she felt that her relationship had come in the way of her career? “In my case, people presumed that I was so much into my relationship that I didn’t have time for my career,” Udita sighed.

“But that was untrue. Secondly, people thought I am totally settled and happy in life and I was going to get married. It’s not true. I am too young to get married. It’s just that I am not a very outgoing girl so people made their own conclusions.”

Now, Udita is trying to work out a balance between the personal and the professional. “We took a break for sometime. He was so busy, and we were having these small fights all the time. Then we just decided to take some time off and concentrate on our respective careers. But Mohit and I were always together.”
