Where I party...
In Someplace Else and Princeton Club. I go there at least five times a month. I also drop into Roxy, more because of its geography — it’s just next to Someplace Else and a nice place to chill with friends.
My party combo...
Being with like-minded people while partying is very important for me. Good music, the drink and people of my choice are the three most important combinations to kick off a great party. I don’t make friends or strike up a conversation with strangers.
My party people...
Are mostly people older than me! I like to party with Rudra (Rudranil Ghosh), Kanchan (Mullick), Kaushik (Ganguly), Arindam Sil, Bidipta (Chakraborty), Aparajita (Ghosh Das) and.... Swastika.
My party poison...
Earlier my favourite drink was whisky, I preferred it on the rocks or Jack Daniel with Coke, but now I prefer wine. It’s safer!
My party dress code…
Well, I wear whatever I am comfortable in. But I love to wear a white kurta teamed with denims. I also have a collection of different types of shirts in darker shades that I love wearing. Sometimes I wear a jacket on top of a shirt.
My most daring party outfit…
I had gone to a very high-profile and flashy party wearing dhuti panjabi!
My most embarrassing party moment…
It was about three years ago when I used to drink whisky. My driver Ganesh used to take pride in the fact that no matter how drunk I was I never went bonkers. But one night at a party in Big Ben I met director Anjan Dutt and he offered me The Bong Connection. I was in a state of euphoria and downed a couple of drinks. I wasn’t well and was on antibiotics. And it felt like the whole world had come crashing down on me. I was with Kanchan and I ran to the restroom and stayed there for half an hour according to Kanchan because I can’t remember much. Later I had to be escorted to my car and Ganesh got the shock of his life!
I never go to a party if…
I am not in the right state of mind. More importantly, if I don’t feel like partying.

My favourite place is Shisha. I like the crowd there. It’s never overcrowded and the music is always very good. I also love to party in Roxy. I started partying at The Park and so the place is special. I used to party a lot earlier, but now it’s only twice every month.
My party combo…
The crowd has to be good. I don’t like too many stags in a party. I think Shisha and Roxy have a decent crowd, always. Next comes the music. I like trance and Bollywood numbers.
My party people…
I like to hang out with friends who are not from the industry. I have no friends in the industry; I mean all are friends but I believe in dividing work and play.
My party poison…
I prefer Bacardi Breezer and mocktails. I do drink whisky and beer sometimes. But I am careful not to drink more than one peg!
My party dress code…
I am a very jeans person, so jeans and a top or a knee-length dress. And I don’t wear heels, I prefer chappals!
My most daring party outfit…
I don’t remember wearing anything daring. I hang out with a very conservative group of friends.
I never go to a party if…
I don’t have my car.

Where I party...
I love to party in Roxy; it rocks! It’s a very classy place. The crowd is decent as it’s an expensive place. It’s a good place for adda and the low lights are soothing. But I don’t party a lot, maybe just 10 days in a year!
My party combo…
For me partying means relaxing with close friends. So the crowd matters the most. I like soothing music. I am game for Bollywood numbers and also Pink Floyd.
My party people…
I generally hang out with people who are not from the industry. I have a few friends who are fashion designers. Sometimes I also hang out with Jisshu (Sengupta) and Nilanjanaa.
My party poison…
I am not much into alcohol.
My party dress code…
I like to mix and match my dresses and I am careful not to repeat what I wear. I don’t like tight-fit dresses. I dress very casually while partying, so I prefer jeans and a kurti.
My most daring party outfit…
I once wore a sari to a party in Roxy. It must have been five years back. I thought it was quite daring… plus, my sari came off!
My most embarrassing party moment…
It was a birthday party at The Park where I broke my shoe heel and I fell down. I was very embarrassed and walked with a limp the whole evening!
I never go to a party if…
The crowd is not good. I like to be in the company of classy people.

Work leaves me with little time to party. But yes, we do party sometimes at a friend’s place.
My party combo...
I like to party only with very close friends. The idea is to catch up with friends and chat for hours. Next is the music. We love to dance to foot-tapping numbers.

Monami is always there at these parties. And a couple of other friends who are not actors or actresses but are part of the industry.

Anything. I only dress up for a formal party.
My most daring party outfit…
I like to wear daring outfits at formal parties. And those are always saris teamed with halter-neck, off-shoulder or backless blouses. I wear a lot of designer blouses and I think they are daring.
My most embarrassing party moment...
Once I flaunted a new pair of shoes but the sole came off and I had to sit in a corner throughout the party!
I will never go to a party if…
I am not invited the way I would like to be.

Where I party...
I don’t like to party in pubs and discs. We generally have a get-together either at a friend’s place or on my terrace. We have such parties at least eight to 10 times a year. We have bonfires and barbecues and it’s great fun!
My party combo…
The people matters the most. I like to party with my closest pals. Music should be light and soothing.
My party people…
I party with my co-stars and directors. The crew is invited too. But sometimes we party even when four of us are together.

I don’t drink.

Pyjamas! Since I party at home and with friends I am dressed in something I am really comfortable in. Even my friends who drop in are casually dressed.

I don’t wear a micro mini, but I don’t mind plunging necklines or a covered neck top.

There are times when people get drunk and make passes, but that’s it. I know how to handle them.
