Kartik Aaryan will reprise his role Rooh Baba in the third instalment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the actor announced on Instagram on Wednesday.
The Bollywood actor will reunite with producer Bhushan Kumar and director Anees Bazmee for the horror comedy, which is scheduled for a Diwali 2024 release. The female lead of the film is yet to be announced.
The spooky announcement video shows Kartik dressed up as Rooh Baba and sitting in a chair singing Ami Je Tomar. Kartik repeats his popular dialogue from the second film while looking into the camera, “Mai aatmao se sirf baat hi nahi karta, aatmein mere andar aa bhi jaati hai.”
Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has also confirmed the making of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and the involvement of Kartik in the movie through a press note.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the second film of the franchise, was a massive box office success. It starred Kiara Advani as Kartik's love interest along with Tabu who played a double role, one of which was the ghost of Manjulika.
