Various Bollywood filmmakers and actors with whom Kartik has collaborated in the past took to the comment section to congratulate him.

Kabir Khan, who directed Kartik in the upcoming sports biopic Chandu Champion, referred to his character in the film and wrote, “Great choice Chandu.”

Kabir’s wife Mini Mathur added a more personal comment, saying, “Arre waaah mubarak ho!! Please drive to ours with Katori and casually forget to take her back.”

Actor Bhuvan Arora, who stars in Chandu Champion alongside Kartik, hilariously twisted the latter’s caption. “Riksha se nikla, par rover mere range mein (I just got out of a rickshaw but the Rover is in my range),” he wrote.

Kartik’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety co-star Sunny Singh picked up a line said by the former’s character Titu to his on-screen friend Sagar (Singh) while discussing their dinner plans in the film. “Chal sagar chinese phir,” the 38-year-old actor wrote, making Kartik burst into laughter.

The actor’s Satyaprem Ki Katha director Sameer Sanjay Vidwans also did not leave an opportunity to quip about his swanky car. “Congratulations.

Kabhi hume lift de dena,” he wrote. The film’s producer Shareen Mantri Kedia commented with fire and heart emojis.

Kartik has often shared his love for cars and bikes on social media. The actor was gifted a McLaren GT, a luxury sports car, by T-Series chairman-producer Bhushan Kumar, following the success of his 2022 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

“Chinese khaane ke liye nayi table gift mil gayi. Mehnat ka phal meetha hota hai suna tha..Itna bada hoga nahi pata tha. India’s 1st McLaren Gt. Agla gift Private jet sir (I received a new table as a gift for having Chinese food. Heard that the fruit of hard work is sweet...didn't know it would be this big. India’s 1st McLaren GT. Next gift is a private jet, sir),” Kartik wrote alongside a picture of him with Bhushan and his fresh addition to his car collection.

In 2021, Kartik had bought a black Lamborghini. “Kharid li....Par main shayad mehengi cheezon ke liye bana hi nahi hoon (I bought it…But I don’t think I’m made for luxurious things),” the actor wrote alongside a reel showing him posing with his car and getting stunned by balloons bursting behind him.

Kartik was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani, which grossed Rs 117.77 crore (USD 15 million) worldwide. He also made a cameo appearance in the Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar which released last year. He will be next star in Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.
