Embroidery being the love of the season, we heart this easy separate look.
The busy top with floral weave, paired with a simple hand-woven A-line flowy skirt in onion pink makes it a fresh combo.

A trend you are crushing on: High-waist pants I love and then bell-bottoms are also nice.

A trend you want to make a comeback: Ballroom gowns! Or A-line dresses.

A trend you don’t want to try: Anything in which I look ugly! (Laughs) Actually none!

A trend you never want to fade: White shirt and denims. It’s a classic and should never go away.

A make-up trend that you heart: I love metallic nail polish, I like nice and thick brows and metallic liners.

Your five must make-up products: Lip balm, mascara, cheek stain, sunscreen and kajal.

A trend or thing you would never be caught trying: I like experimenting so I would try everything, except the black lipstick!

Your workout regimen includes: According to me your gym starts from your kitchen. You have to have a balanced diet for you to show the fit body. If you don’t have a healthy diet, it doesn’t matter if you work out for two-three hours, you will not see the results. I don’t do pilates; I do functional weights and thrice a week I do yoga that keeps me balanced and relaxed.

Three secrets to a fit body:  To avoid bloating, my nutritionist told me to have ajwain and jeera water. So you boil water and add the two with a dash of lemon and trust me it works wonders!  Have it on an empty stomach. If you work out, in 10 days you will see the results. Then keep having warm water throughout the day. Avoid eating fried stuff and have watery fruits. The more water you have in your system, the more toxins you wash out.

Cheat day yay or nay: Yay! I definitely believe in them. To be honest I don’t have a sweet tooth, so if you keep chocolates, cakes in front of me I don’t go mad, so that’s a blessing. I am a big fan of junk food like bhel, pani puri, chaat, dosa and pav bhaji.

What have you been busy with?

Right now I am chilling and taking a break. I haven’t done a daily soap for a long time because I wasn’t ready for it. It takes a lot of time and you need to have a strong story to do a daily soap that requires 30 days a month. So yes I am waiting for that.

Talking about chilling, what do you do in your me-time?

I love to travel, drive, watch movies, listen to music…

A movie that has made you laugh/ponder:

Laugh would be 3 Idiots, one that made me ponder would be Lipstick Under My Burkha. It made me think that this is what happens in the interiors which we are not aware of.

Top five songs on your playlist:

I Don’t Want To Live Forever by Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik, Something Just Like This, Suit suit and I love Proper patola by Diljit Dosanjh.

“Our collection is inspired by people with a strong independent will, whose glamour turns the everyday dust into a golden haze of a fantasy space. Period silhouettes with modern adornment is the key of this collection that makes it edgy and very wearable. We have tried infusing the right trends and the colour palette ranges from black and green to lilac and dust blue,” said designer duo Rishi (right) and Soujit on their collection Dust of Dreams.

“The whole look has been kept dewy and natural. I used a high-definition blush and her eye make-up was more of a pearly creme eyeshadow with a skin-coloured eyeshadow combined. I used a highlighter on her eyelids and gave her nice, thick groomed eyebrows and balanced it with a lot of mascara. The cheeks had highlighter and we gave the lips a very washed-out peach and tangerine shade,” said Abhijit Chanda, make-up artist.
