Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu’s badass air-hostesses encounter unexpected situations in the line of duty as they embark on a journey to fulfil their dreams in the teaser of Rajesh A Krishnan’s women-centric drama Crew, also featuring singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and comedian Kapil Sharma.

Dropped by the makers on Saturday, the one-minute-38-second-long teaser begins with Tabu’s voiceover warning the flight passengers that the temperature outside is about to rise — a clever play of words hinting that the situation is soon going to escalate. It then shows the three air-hostesses walking through an airport sporting blood-red uniforms and blue hats, before showing fourth-wall break scenes of the actresses complaining about their daily routine.

However, life gets messy for the trio as their daily duty is not difficult anymore. They soon get sucked into a world of crime and conspiracies for easy money. The teaser, set to the music of the Khalnayak song Choli Ke Peeche, is full of hilarious moments and sarcastic remarks by the three leading ladies.

As per an official IMDb synopsis, the storyline of the film follows three hard-working women as their destinies lead them to a series of unwarranted situations and entangles them in a web of lies.

Kareena made her OTT debut last year with Sujoy Ghosh’s Netflix film Jaane Jaan alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. She also starred in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders, which had its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival in October last year.

While Tabu appeared in Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya, Kriti recently headlined Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah's directorial debut Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Shahid Kapoor.

Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, Crew is slated to hit theatres on March 29.
