A bed. Check. A sofa. Check. A flower vase. Check. A dressing table. Check. All the items that belong in a house were put together on the Pattaya beach to resemble Raja and Alia’s sansar — starring Jeet and Bangladeshi actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim — for the song Aamar mon in Sultan: The Saviour, directed by Raja Chanda. Jeet plays a taxi driver, while Mim plays a lawyer in the June 15 action thriller.
With the blue sky and azure water as the backdrop, Jeet and Mim had a blast shooting for Aamar mon, a romantic song composed by Savvy. “This is a passionate song and establishes the closeness between the two characters,” said director Raja Chanda, about the song that was also shot on a yacht. “The sea was turbulent that day; it was windy, and most of us fell sick. Jeet was the only one who was not affected. He took good care of everyone,” said Raja.
A waterfall in Kanchanaburi was the setting for a sequence of Aamar mon. “From Pattaya, we travelled by car for four hours and then walked for another hour to reach the spot. But it was worth it,” said Raja.
