You walk in through the door, step on the green AstroTurf-like carpet and see Ishant Sharma running in to bowl... just for a second you might think you’re in the middle of a cricket game. Welcome to Hit Wicket, the cafe to be at whenever there’s action on the 22 yards. It’s cosy but not cramped, giving you the right match day feels with eight TV screens and one giant projector.
They serve a variety of cuisines — from Italian to Indian, Chinese to Lebanese — and till they get their liquor licence, you can sip on some refreshing mocktails. The cafe at a prime spot (formerly Caramelle, on your right on way to Quest mall from CC&FC) opened on October 28 and will give a 15 per cent discount in (No Shave) November, if you have a beard!
