The grand finale of Unish Kuri Glam Hunt 2014, presented by Reliance Trends, picked Paean Sarkar and Somraj Maity as the winners at Swabhumi, Rang Manch, on Monday. The show kick-started with the 10 contestants grooving to Fire from the Hrithik Roshan-starrer Kites.

I judged the contestants on poise, stage presence, attitude and personality. My advice? They might have to face hardships but they should always retain their inner beauty. That shouldn’t be diminished by negativity and extreme competition.
Nusrat Jahan
I was feeling nostalgic! All the contestants did a good job and they were all well groomed. While judging, I was looking at their confidence levels.
Soumik Haldar
This is my first time as a judge at a beauty pageant. It is a strange thing that I am enjoying the show and not sitting behind the camera!
Raja Chanda
Unish Kuri provided a platform for youngsters to fulfil their dreams. As a director, I feel Paean can try her luck in films as she has an expressive face and looks confident.
