Bengali video streaming platform Hoichoi has announced a bouquet of 10 new original shows that will drop between April and September this year.

The line-up includes Homestay Murders, Rajneeti, Noshtoneer, Gora 2, Mission Huntdown, Nikhoj and Mr. Kolketa. Anirban Bhattacharya’s Byomkesh O Pinjrapol, Sani Ghose Ray’s Jaatishawr and Ashfaque Nipun’s Mohanagar 2 have already started streaming from this month.

Announcing the new shows, Hoichoi co-founder Mahendra Soni shared a video on social media.

Here’s what to expect:

Directed by Sayantan Ghosal, Homestay Murders will premiere in May. Headlined by Sohini Sarkar and Saurav Das, this is a mystery thriller set in north Bengal. Arjun Chakrabarty, Parno Mittra, Aparajita Ghosh Das, Sobuj Bardhan, Debchandrima Singha Roy and Juddhajit Sarkar feature in significant roles.

Kaushik Ganguly, Koneenica Banerjee, Ditipriya Roy and Arjun Chakrabarty will be teaming up for Sourav Chakraborty’s web series Rajneeti, while Tota Roy Choudhury and Swastika Mukherjee will share screen space in Ayan Chakraborti’s thriller Nikhoj.

Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed are helming the Bangladeshi thriller Mission Huntdown, starring Bidya Sinha Saha Mim and FS Nayeem in the lead roles. Sandipta Sen will play the lead in Noshtoneer, a social drama directed by Aditi Roy.

Ritwick Chakraborty will return with two shows. He stars alongside Rajnandini Paul in Surajit Chatterjee’s series Mr. Kolketa, and will be back as the eccentric detective Gourab Sen aka Gora in the second season of Gora.
