Glimpses from 10th anniversary celebration of Zee Bangla Cinema

The channel has been able to capture the mindspace of viewers across geographies, age groups, socio-economic class and gender by offering various flavours of movie-viewing experience. ZBC has the best of evergreen and blockbuster films. The channel has come up with many ‘orbit shifting projects’ which are ‘industry first initiatives’, for example Zee Bangla Cinema Originals — in-house films which are made and directly premiered on the channel. As a brand, ZBC has always nurtured new and aspiring talents, the latest initiative being Power Shorts, a platform for young aspiring filmmakers to showcase their work in the short film space. ZBC’s universe has been creating magic in the last 10 years and inspiring its audiences to aim for unexplored possibilities,” said Samrat.
“Some of my films were shown on the first year of Zee Bangla Cinema. Teen Yaari Kotha was one of them. It got a very good rating on the channel,” said Sudeshna Roy.
“Zee Bangla Cinema has a huge library of beautiful films. Many of my films are also listed among them. I wish them all the very best,” said Ayoshi.
