What: Puja Special Menu
Where: Mainland China, all outlets except the one at Silver Spring Arcade
On till: October 11, noon to 4pm and 7pm to 11pm
On the menu: Mainland China will have different set menus on different days of the Puja with a range of Oriental delights such as Chilli Plum Potatoes, an array of wontons, Fish in Mountain Chilli Sauce, Spicy Hunan Shrimps, and Squid in Singapore Chilli Sauce. 
Pocket pinch: Rs 961 (all inclusive) per person.

What: Puja Special Menu
Where: Machaan and Flame & Grill (all outlets) 
On till: October 11, noon to 4pm and 7pm to 11pm
On the menu: For starters, dig into Tandoori Prawn, Dhuandhar Tandoori Chicken and Fish Amritsari. Vegetarians can choose from Subz Hariyali Tikia, Achari Mushroom and Malai Tandoori Aloo. The main course has options such as Murgh Biryani Kolkata Style, Mutton Roganjosh and Dhania Murgh. For dessert, there’s Gulab Jamun, Dhoodhi Halwa and Dark Chocolate Mousse.

What: Puja Special Platter
Where: Oh! Calcutta, Forum mall and Silver Spring Arcade
On till: October 11, noon to 4pm and 7pm to 11pm
On the menu: From traditional Bengali vegetarian dishes such as Aam Kasundi Phulkopi and Rajbarir Chhanar Kofta to Dhokar Dalna and Jhinge Aloo Posto to non-veg delicacies like Chingri Malai Curry, Chitol Maachher Muitha and Maachher Paturi, this Puja will see a delightful spread at Oh! Calcutta. Till October 9, the set menu will have Bengali yummies such as Kosha Aloor Dum, Til Lonkar Torkari, Shorshay Narkol Chingri and Sajnekhalir Mangsher Jhol. On October 10 and 11, the menu will be a little different with dishes such as Chicken Chaap and Mutton Biryani added to the fare.

What: Pet Pujo Buffet
Where: Sigree Global Grill, Silver Spring Arcade
On till: October 11, noon to 4pm and 7pm to 11pm
On the menu: A medley of Indian and Mediterranean flavours at the special buffet. From grilled Mediterranean chicken kebabs to Achari Murgh Tikka, the starters will kick off your festive feast before moving on to mains such as Murgh Burhani, Herb Garlic Pepper Roast Chicken and Kolkata Mutton Biryani.

What: Celebration Menu
Where: Cafe Mezzuna, Forum mall and South City Mall
On till: October 11, 11am to 11pm
On the menu: This a la carte menu has all the old Mezzuna favourites. Four Cheese Pizza, Moroccan Lamb Chops and Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee just some of the dishes we can’t have enough of. But keep an eye out for new inclusions such as Shrimp Newburg and Chicken Paprika.

Dim Sum Platter at Yauatcha

What: Puja Specials
Where: Yauatcha, Quest mall
On till: November 2, 11am to 11pm
On the menu: There’s a five-course menu, with separate choices for vegetarians and meat-eaters. The highlights are Truffle and English Carrot Dumpling, Pan-seared Pork and Seasme Bun, Steamed Red Snapper in Asam Sauce, Braised Tofu Clay Pot with Mushroom, and Jaffa Cake. Or you can opt for dim sum platters. Mandarin Dumpling, Mushroom Spring Roll with Black Truffle, Baked Chicken Puff and Lobster Dumpling with Tobiko Caviar are some of the exciting options here. 
Pocket pinch per person: Five-course menu (Rs 1,199-plus (veg), Rs 1,299-plus (non-veg). Dim sum platters: 
Rs 495-plus (veg) and Rs 595-plus (non-veg).

What: Durga Puja Special Menu
Where: Kewpie’s, 2 Elgin Lane (behind Netaji Bhavan) 
On till: October 15, Lunch: first sitting (noon to 2.15pm) and second sitting (2.45pm to 4pm); dinner (7.30pm to 11pm)
On the menu: Many options to choose from — Kewpie’s Specials, Pujor Thala, Sharodiya Amish Thala, Mahabhoj Amish and Niramish Thalas, and more! The Kewpie’s Specials section has dishes such as Chitol Petir Jhal, Ilish (boneless) Paturi, Mangsho Pulao and Duck Vindaloo. The Mahabhoj Thalas have Luchi, Shukto, Alur Dom, Bhaja and Dal, Pulao, Chutney and Papor, one dessert and a choice of three veg or non-veg dishes from the a la carte menu. The Sharodiya Amish Thala is almost similar to the Mahabhoj Thalas, with one veg and one non-veg dish option.
Pocket pinch per person: Pujor Thala Rs 475-plus, Mahabhoj Niramish Thala Rs 650-plus, Mahabhoj Amish Thala Rs 985-plus, Sharodiya Amish Thala Rs 600-plus. For the Kewpie’s Specials section, dishes range from Rs 275 to Rs 500.

What: Feel The Festive Beats With The Maharajah
Where: On Air India flights out of Calcutta to Indian metro cities (New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad) or international destinations
When: October 8 to 10 
On the menu: The airline will offer breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner trays having traditional Bengali dishes to all passengers. For lunch and dinner, the menu will feature a mix and match of dishes such as Dhakai Murgi, Bhetki Maachher Paturi, Chicken Dakbungalow, Mutton Kasha, Chhanar Kalia, Mochar Ghonto, Radhaballavi, Mishti Doi and more. For breakfast and high tea, the menu has snacks such as Mangsher Chop or Cutlet, Karaishuti or Hinger Kochuri, Phulkopir Singara, Narkel Diye Ghugni, Sitabhog, Mihidana and Chhana Pora on rotation. Passengers will get a teaser menu on board with the iconic Air India Maharajah (right), in a dhoti-clad dhaki avatar, on it.

What: Pujo Special Menu
Where: Bohemian, Ballygunge
On till: October 20, noon to 5pm, 6.30pm to12.30am
On the menu: It’s raining hilsa on the a la carte platter. Think Hilsa Stuffed Country Egg Mumlet with Pickled Lemon Dip, Hilsa stewed with Cucumber and Coconut, Hilsa Simmered in Orange and Cinnamon Reduction.... If you’re looking for a light meal, there’s Jhaal Muri with dry spiced Kosha Chicken or Jhaal Muri with Lemon-infused Shrimps.
Pocket pinch: Rs 1,800-plus for two.

What: Durga Puja Special Menu  
Where: Chapter 2, Mani Square Mall
On till: October 11, noon to 10.30pm
On the menu: The buffet highlights are Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Stroganoff, Vegetable Lasagna, Macaroni Casserole, Burnt Garlic Fried Rice and Kung Pao Prawn.
Pocket pinch: Rs 700-plus per person.

What: Pujo Weekend Breakfast
Where: Edesia, 6 Hungerford Street, The Regency Building
When: October 8 and 9, 6am to noon
On the menu: Wondering where to pile in on the meat after a whole night of pandal-hopping? Walk into Edesia for the breakfast buffet. Apart from the regular menu, there will be some Bengali food such as Luchi-Aloo Dum, Chholar Dal, Moong Dal Khichuri with Begun Bhaja. What’s more? Complimentary dessert!

Gondhoraj Narkel Diye Bhetki Maachh at Bombay Brasserie

What: Puja Specials
Where: Bombay Brasserie, 5th floor, Quest mall
On till: October 11, noon to 3.30pm, 7pm to 11.30pm
On the menu: A Bengali a la carte menu that boasts of Lal Kumro Kaakrar Jhal, Gondhoraj Narkel Diye Bhetki Maachh, Aloo Potol Diye Khashir Mangsho, Mourala Maachh Bhaja, Mughlai Paratha, Gulkand Rasmalai and more. 
Pocket pinch: Rs 1,900-plus (with alcohol) per person. 

Caramel Popcorn Sundae at Rollick

What: Durga Puja Offer
Where: Rollick Ice Cream parlour, India’s Hobby Centre, Park Street
On till: October 12, noon to midnight
On the menu: The Caramel Popcorn Sundae, when you want some popcorn even if you’re not in a movie hall. Paan Blast or Meetha Paan Sundae for those craving that flavour after dinner. The Chocolate Explosion because chocolate never gets old.
Pocket pinch: Sundaes begin at Rs 200 (inclusive of tax).

What: Bangalir Henshel Sarodiyar Bhuribhoj
Where: Kebab-e-Que, The Astor, 15 Shakespeare Sarani
On till: October 11, 1pm to 4pm, 7.30pm to 11.30pm
On the menu: A Bengali buffet that includes old favourites such as Chingrir Malai Curry, Bhuna Mutton Do Piaja, Sorshe Bhapa Maachh and Kacha Lanka Bata Posto Murgi. Dessert includes Nolen Gurer Ice cream and Gondhoraj Cheesecake.

What: Navami Special Buffet
Where: Maharaja restaurant, 55 Chowringhee Road
When: October 10, noon to 4pm
On the menu: From Shukto to Luchi-Chholar Dal, the buffet has vegetarian Bengali starters. The non-veg main course has Maharaja Badshahi Murgi, Kochi Pathar Jhol (without garlic and onion), Bhetki Paturi, Maachher Kalia and Chingri Malai Curry.
Pocket pinch: Rs 7,00-plus per person.

Lobster in Chilli Oyster at Tak Heng

What: Grand Puja Migrant Buffet
Where: Calcutta Stories and Tak Heng, 452B Keyatala Road, beside APC Pet Clinic
On till: October 11, 1pm to 4pm, 7.30pm to 2am
On the menu: Both restaurants are at the same address now. The buffet highlights old Calcutta cuisines including Parsi, Jewish, Anglo-Indian, Armenian and Chinese dishes.
Pocket pinch: Rs 750-plus per person. 

What: Sweet Tooth
Where: Little Pleasures, 8/1 Loudon Street
On till: October 10, 10am to 8pm
On the menu: A rose-flavoured menu for the festival. Available off the counter are Rose-flavoured Macaron, Rose Petal and Raspberry Cheesecake and Rose and Cherry Eclair.
Pocket pinch: Begins at Rs 75-plus and goes up to Rs 125-plus.
