Kajol’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Eela, is set to release on September 14. Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, the film also features National Award winning Bengali actor Riddhi Sen as Kajol’s son. Based on a script written by Mitesh Shah, Eela will see Kajol play a single mother and an aspiring singer. It is being produced by Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada of Pen India Limited.

Actress Jane Fonda says she would agree to work with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino without wasting any time. The 80-year-old star, who was paired as guest with Michael Madsen at a Cannes panel discussion, asked the Kill Bill star to put in a “good word” for her. According to Variety, asked if she would work with the director, Fonda replied: “Yeah, in a blue minute I’d work with Quentin. Not a director like Quentin — I’d like to work with Quentin.” She also asked Madsen if he could introduce her to Tarantino, with whom he has worked in four of films, including the director’s debut, Reservoir Dogs. To this, Madsen quickly replied: “As long as we’re in it together.”
