Gen-Y’s Top 11 Pizza places in town

Raj Spanish Cafe: Tuck into their pocket-friendly Mozarella Pizza the next time you are on Sudder Street. If you believe in quality over superfluity, this is the place for you.

Fire And Ice: A little heavy on the pocket but once you’ve tasted their perfectly thin-crust pizza with perfectly melted cheese and toppings that tickle your tastebuds, you keep coming back to this posh pizzeria in Kanak Building on Chowringhee.

Chicago Pizza: Situated at the rear entrance of City Centre Salt Lake, this is the go-to place for those who like their pizza made their way in front of them. With a variety of delicious toppings, the thin-crust pizzas at Chicago Pizza are a must-try.
Don Giovanni’s: This affordable pizza hub in Jodhpur Park and on Sarat Bose Road serves you thin-crust pizzas with rich toppings.

Fillers: Delicious vegetarian pizzas at reasonable rates. Besides value for money, it also scores because of its proximity to the popular adda zone at Vivekananda Park.

The Joint: Have you tried Calcutta’s best Bacon Ham Pepperoni Pizza with a generous helping of cheese? This small eatery in Santoshpur (B172, Survey Park) will satisfy your pizza cravings like few others.

Chili’s: If you’ve been to this famous Mexican food stop at Quest Mall and not tried their Chipotle Pizza, you know where to run for dinner tonight. People who have already savoured their pizzas want to go back time and again.

Cafe Mezzuna: The best place to enjoy your thin-crust pizza with a cocktail. This restaurant at Forum mall on Elgin Road is always packed during happy hours, and beyond. The lively ambience blends beautifully with the great sips and bites.

Bistro by The Park: Quiet ambience with tasty pizzas and all kinds of drinks make a great setting for a date or a celebration with close friends. Our only peeve with this Park Street restaurant? The sky-high prices!

Dominos and Pizza Hut: They are our regular options to tackle hunger pangs and pizza cravings at all odd hours of the day. We heart their ever-increasing variety of pizzas, coupled with new meal deals and offers every month.

If you are truly in a relationship with pizza, you will love this pizza-flavoured cupcake recipe!

1. Roll your pizza dough on a flat surface. Cut out the required number of rounds.
2. Grease the cupcake tray with oil or butter and fill it with the dough cut-outs.
3. Add a spoonful of  ketchup, mozzarella cheese, a slice of pepperoni and green pepper. Top it with cheese sauce and extra pepperoni.
4. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 15 minutes, cool and serve with a cheese dip.
