Faraaz
The official trailer of National Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s action-thriller Faraaz is now out. The film features Zahan Kapoor, Aditya Rawal, Juhi Babbar Soni, Aamir Ali, Jatin Sarin, Ninad Bhatt, Harshal Pawar, Palak Lalwani and Reshhan Sahaani.
The two-minute-six-second-long trailer loosely depicts the terror attack at Holey Artisan Bakery, Dhaka, that shook Bangladesh in July 2016. It shows how terrorists took the lives of civilians.
Faraaz will arrive in cinemas on February 3.
Rafta Rafta
Amazon miniTV on Monday released the official teaser of its upcoming show Rafta Rafta. The seven-episode series features Bhuvan Bam and Srishti Ganguli Rindani as a newly married couple.
The one-minute-45-second-long teaser gives a sneak peek into the lives of a newly married couple — Karan (Bhuvan) and Nithya (Srishti). In the teaser, the couple is seen enjoying each other’s company over breakfast, leading to a comedy of errors.
Rafta Rafta will be streaming on the Amazon shopping app and website from January 25.
Mitthye Premer Gaan
SVF on Sunday dropped the official trailer for its upcoming romantic Bengali film Mitthye Premer Gaan. Helmed by Paroma Neotia, the film stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Ishaa Saha and Arjun Chakrabarty in lead roles alongside Soumya Mukherjee, Anusha Viswanathan, Sudipa Bose, Debesh Chattopadhyay and Biswarup Biswas.
The two-minute-29-second-long trailer shows a reclusive singer-songwriter (Anirban), who falls in love with a pragmatic girl (Ishaa). However, they are thrown into a toxic love triangle with the involvement of a rude classical singer (Arjun). Anirban’s character becomes a successful rockstar and an alcoholic, but all his success cannot make him forget his lost love.
Mitthye Premer Gaan will arrive in cinemas on February 10.
LSD(Laal Suitcase Ta Dekhechen?)
Soham’s Entertainment on Sunday unveiled the trailer of its upcoming Bengali film Laal Suitcase Ta Dekhechen? Or LSD. Directed by Sayantan Ghosal, the black comedy features Soham Chakraborty, Saayoni Ghosh, Kanchan Mallick, Sourav Chakraborty, Avijeet Guha and Labony Sarkar.
In the two-minute-eight-second-long trailer, we are introduced to two college students played by Saayoni and Soham. After college, they embark on a psychedelic trip. They end up killing their taxi driver who was behaving rudely. Now they have to hide the dead body in a red suitcase to avoid jail time.
Laal Suitcase Ta Dekhechen? will hit theatres on February 10.
