Internationally, Dune: Part Two continued its fabulous run, minting an additional USD 97 million, bringing its global debut to a staggering USD 178.5 million.

It collected Rs 2.75 crore nett on the opening day, followed by Rs 3.66 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 4 crore nett on Sunday, according to industry-tracker Sacnilk.

Originally slated for an October 2023 release, Warner Bros. made the strategic decision to move the film to March due to the Hollywood strikes. This shift allowed the star-studded cast to engage in a full-fledged promotional circuit, contributing to the movie's blockbuster opening.

Dune: Part Two's success follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, which garnered slightly over USD 100 million domestically and a remarkable USD 400 million globally during its theatrical run.
