Its storyline may resemble the Kunal Khemu-starrer Superstar, but that hasn’t stopped Pari Hoon Main from pulling out all the stops to rake in the TRPs. The latest item on the STAR One show is an item number! Yes, it’s an item song for the small screen, ironically for the music launch party of the film within the show.

But more than the item song you have to keep your eyes on the costume of Rashmi Desai who plays Nikki, (and also Pari) the superstar. The sari alone costs Rs 2.5 lakhs, thanks to the glittering diamonds! The song, of course, is Yeh mera dil from Don choreographed by the talented choreographer Mehul Gadani (assistant to Raju Khan). What’s more it was shot on a set straight out of a Bollywood movie produced by the same makers from B.R. Chopra productions. Catch all the razzmatazz on Monday and Tuesday, 9pm on STAR One.
