Mallika Sherawat might be still trying as hard to get attention (who kisses a snake for god’s sake?) but the one good thing about her is her Cannes wardrobe. From dupatta-less lehnga and popping cholis to nude hued bustier dresses from Dolce & Gabbana, she has come a long way. The gold gown (picture on cover) might be a bit much but her yellow and black number is not bad at all! |

Practice makes one perfect. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has proved that she CAN do it at CANNES. She has made a string of stylish appearances at the French Riviera film fest, the latest being a sari by her Raavan designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. While some have not appreciated her poofy hairstyle on Day 1 and her bright mouth on Day 2, by Day 3 Ash was bang on. The magenta chiffon Gucci gown gets full marks as does her Gucci LBD during the Raavan photocall. The champagne Sabya sari with contrast green velvet blouse was a stunner. Middle-parted jooda hair, smoky eyes, nude lips and bindi added to the neutral look. “I wanted to give her something that looks like it has come out of a museum, like Indian vintage,” says Sabya.
