What: Puja means celebrating with thousands of festive revellers in your pandal of choice. But don’t you sometimes crave a corner for the gang to just sit and chill over some food and food for thought? Worry not — Coke-e Food-e Pujor Mood-e in association with Anandabazar Patrika and The Telegraph is here!
Coke-e, Food-e, Pujor Mood-e will be creating Adda Zones in seven Puja pandals — four in Calcutta, one in Howrah, one in Burdwan and one in Durgapur. The biggest kick? Various Tollywood stars will turn up at some of these Adda Zones on three Puja days (Sashthi, Saptami and Ashtami).
As part of the campaign, Coca-Cola India will set up special corners offering an experience of Coke-and-food combos, Coke Studio music lounge, free Wi-fi zones for visitors (only if you buy food/Coke from the counter) to share pictures on social media instantly, plus celebrity visits. Where: Jodhpur Park Saradiya Utsab Committee, Dum Dum Park Bharat Chakra, Ballygunge Cultural Association, Deshapriya Park Durgotsav, Bantra Sammilani (Howrah), Sabuj Sangha (Burdwan) and Nabarun Sangha (Durgapur).

“Long adda, pandal-hopping, great food... the three things synonymous with Bengalis. This year it will be extra special because of these Adda Zones created by Coke. All are welcome!” said Parambrata Chattopadhyay, scheduled to visit Ballygunge Cultural Association and Deshapriya Park on Ashtami.
“Puja to me means a gourmet trip. And after pandal-hopping only Coke can quench the thirst. I am really excited about visiting the Coke Adda Zones at various pandals. It will be great fun interacting with people,” smiled Arunima Ghosh, set to visit Ballygunge Cultural Association and Bantra Sammilani in Howrah on Saptami.
“Puja means lots of catching up with friends over chatpata snacks and a bottle of Coke. That’s my idea of spending the biggest festival of Bengalis. And this year I am looking forward to make some new friends in the Adda Zones,” said Paayel Sarkar, who has Ashtami visits lined up at Jodhpur Park and Dum Dum Park Bharat Chakra.

Organiser speak: Debabrata Mukherjee, vice president-marketing and commercial, Coca-Cola India: “Festivals are a time to celebrate with family, friends and lots of food, and for Coca-Cola, the festive season is all about bonding with consumers. Durga Puja is an intrinsic part of every Bengali’s life. Being someone who has grown up in Calcutta and been a part of this festival for many years, I completely identify with the sound of the dhaak, going pandal-hopping, savoring delicious bhog.

“I am very excited that as a part of the marketing team of one of the most loved brands we can work towards making the Puja celebration even more memorable. We have launched the Coke-e Food-e Pujor Mood-e initiative with an aim to give the people of Bengal a refreshing way to enjoy the festive season.
“This initiative in particular is very close to my heart as it invokes a great sense of nostalgia considering I have been away from the city for almost 20 years. This initiative is our way of paying a tribute to the unbridled enthusiasm of thousands of devotees at Calcutta’s greatest cultural extravaganza.”
