Anupam Roy, singer

It was a pleasure singing such a nice melody with meaningful lyrics. Waiting to work with the duo once more and with David & Goliath. This is really exciting.

Raajhorshee De, director and lyricist

I have always been deeply influenced by Bob Dylan, Kabir Suman and Gulzar as a songwriter. This is my debut as a songwriter and that too in Hindi. I felt that the crisis my nation is facing today politically has to be taken into consideration. If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart. So Hindi was the language that goes to the heart. As the director of the film, I felt that this film socially and democratically speaks about equality.

Ashu Chakraborty, music director

It’s a rock ballad… an inner call... an inspiration to get over all the obstacles. A free spirit that inspires to go out and do the best things to make the world a better place. Featuring the sensational Anupam Roy, the lyrics by Raajhorshee De inspired me to create this melody. Aaj mumkin hogi saari koshishe — this one line carries the entire essence of the song.
